What started as a failed attempt to make a Thanksgiving dinner menu with ChatGPT turned into a real app. The AI kept hallucinating letters and botching the formatting — so I opened Replit's design mode and built a proper menu tool in a couple hours for $2.48. No backend. No hallucinated letters. No doomed revision cycles.
About This Project
Menu Labs is a prompt-to-menu generator built for $2.48. Type in a restaurant concept, and it generates a complete, styled menu. Seven template variations cover everything from fine dining to food trucks.
Built entirely on Replit using their design mode and Fast Mode AI. Classic vibe-coded side project — started as 'I want a nice menu for a dinner party' and ended as 'I accidentally built a product.'
